Al Sakhoor Trading and Services is a diversified business and investment company with operations and interests across Qatar, Uganda, and Kenya, focused on creating opportunities, building partnerships, and connecting African resources, businesses, and markets with the Middle East and the wider global economy.
Founded in 2003 in Doha, Qatar, Al Sakhoor began with a vision of building meaningful commercial connections between markets. Over the years, that vision has evolved into a broader platform for business development, market research, public relations, mining, agriculture, food and beverage, and international trade.
Today, our growing presence in Uganda reflects our commitment to identifying promising opportunities in Africa and transforming them into sustainable businesses and partnerships.

Our understanding of both African and Middle Eastern markets enables us to help businesses navigate different audiences and commercial environments.
Mining
Al Sakhoor is actively involved in Uganda’s mining sector, with a focus on developing opportunities within the country’s mineral resources and contributing to responsible value creation within the sector.
Food & Beverage and Value Addition
We are expanding our presence in Uganda’s food and agricultural value chains through a range of initiatives, including:
- Fast-casual dining restaurants
- Fish farming and aquaculture
- Fish processing, packing and distribution
- Agricultural produce trading
- Export of Ugandan coffee
- Export of fruits and vegetables
Through these ventures, we aim to move beyond the export of raw commodities by supporting value addition, market access, and the development of stronger connections between producers and consumers.
